Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines via the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
“These types of items being offered, generally online, have no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their safety.
“You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the effect drugs like this may have on your health.”
